Hunting....[open]

[Nightberry]

Nightberry had been restless throughout the whole night and now she was out hunting. She didn't feel well at all, but she was sure she'd get over it.

She couldn't catch anything because of her vision being blurry, so she just plopped next to the stream and waited there.

[Longstripe]

longstripe stretched, blinking sleep from his pale green eyes. he shook out his fluffy fur. the moon was still out, but clouds blanketed the sky, making the night cold. he couldnt sleep. a bad dream, that was all. maybe the territory would get his mind off of it. he ducked his head under the entrance, and soon was in the territory. he was starting towards the windclan border, when the sound of the creek that breezefur showed him filled his ears. he padded towards the sound of water, pricking his ears. he remembered howmuch prey there was last time, maybe hed catch something. when he got there, scent of cat filled his nostrils and mouth. it was thunderclan, his clan. "hello?" he called softly.

[Nightberry]

A sigh came from Nightberry as she rested her head on her paws.

"Yes....?"she mews softly,not even looking up to see who it was.

[Longstripe]

longstripe heard a small sigh and a "yes?" he noticed blue eyes, and a black pelt. it was the new warrior, nightberry. he remembered that day in the leader's den when they first met. "oh, i didnt see you," he purred. "its nice to see you again, nightberry," the thunderclan deputy mewed, dipping his head. he then padded softly over, sitting next to the warrior. "so why are you oit here all alone?" he asked softly.

[Nightberry]

Nightberry shivers slightly from the cold as she exhales.

"I'm just not feeling well...I guess...I couldn't catch any prey....but I'm glad I can have some company..."she says softly.

[Longstripe]

longstripe nodded, surprised she hadnt asked him why he was out there. "really? no prey? usually thisplace is full of prey, especially at night," he mewed, tasting the air. but she was right. nothing. but he did catch squirrel high up in a tree, and a mouse down in its burrrow.

[Nightberry]

She shook her head. "Well....that's just how it is...what are you doing out here anyways...? Many cats leave me alone when they see me like this...."she mews.

[Longstripe]

ah, there it was. why was he out here? "a bad dream," he replied simply, shuddering at the thought of his dream. he frowned, tilting hsi head. "really? well that isnt kimd. i like to comfort my clanmates when they're not feeling well. i'm surprised and dissapointed. who did that?" he asked softly. maybe he could talk to them.

[Nightberry]

"Oh...no it's nothing that bothers me...I've been alone my whole life. My parents were rogues and they abandoned me...so it doesn't bother me..."she meows, looking over at him with no emotion in her deep blue eyes.

[Longstripe]

longstripe shook his head. such stories were horrible. his own story wasnt far from that. "your not alone. your clanmates are with you. i am. foxstar is, im sure," he mewed, thinking about his dream. maybe he would share it with her, it would change the subject, creating a new topic.

[Nightberry]

She finally lifts her head,a warm smile clear on her lips.

"Thank you, Longstripe....it's good to know that I have cats that care about me."she purrs softly.

[Longstripe]

longstripe shrugged, happy she was happy. "oh, its no problem. its just the truth," he purred, the layed back, his paws on his soft lighter gray stomach. "do you want to hear about my dream, or no?" he asked, twitching his ears.

[Nightberry]

"Well...if I can comfort you...it'd be easier to know the reason why,so yes...please."she mews,giving his ear a quick lick.

[Longstripe]

longstripe noticed she had licked his ear. he shrugged it off, it probably didnt mean anything. "well, i was hunting, and i heard a roar. i looked behind myslef, and a hige pack of dogs was charging at me. and i mean huge easily a thousand dogs. i started running, but i didn't know where i was going, and i was lost. i went in the direction of camp, but it wasn't there. then i was at a cliff. the dogs were at my heels. one slammed into me, and i was falling, towards a thunderpath with roaring monsters. i woke up just in time before i fell." he mewed, looking at nightberry.

[Nightberry]

Nightberry's blue eyes were huge with fear just listening to the dream. She nuzzles him softly.

"Oh....Longstripe...I'm so sorry...it must have been horrifying...."she mews,looking back up at him.
