longstripe looked down at the she-cat. she's so sweet to me. atleast she cares, he thought grinning. "thank you nightberry, for helping me," he mewed, looking down at the stream's clear waters, reflecting the moon and the two cats.

"Thats what Clanmates are for..."she mews softly,smiling. "I couldn't let any cat feel so worried and frightened...I couldn't live with that..."
She couldn't help but let out a purr as she leans against him. He was so fluffy and warm.

longstripe nodded. "you are correct," he purred, whiskers twitching. he felt noghtberry's warm body press against his fluffy pelt. "if your so nice… why do cats leave you alone when you scared, or frightened?" he asked, worry clouding his eyes. if something good came someone's way, they should return it. i'll be there when she's scared, he thought, satisfied.

longstripe shook his head. "stupid fur balls," he muttered, then stood up, stretching. "so… want to do something? we could check the border possibly?" he suggested, circling around nightberry.

longstripe grinned. "well, i'd be honored to go with you," he purred, starting towards the nearest border. "ok, windclan first. it's the closest," he mewed, soon scenting the strong scent of windclan.

Nightberry froze a bit from the strong scent. She hoped he wouldn't notice Adderstripe's scent the most. She visited the deputy at the border a couple times to talk about some things a couple times,but it wasn't anything serious.

longstripe stopped near the border, scenting. the windclan scent was stronger right on the border. his hackles rose, then realized a thunderclan scent had crossed the border. "it looks like someone crossed the border, and a windclanner was right here," he growled, remarking the border.

longstripe nodded, not commenting on how the scent smelled like nightberry. what was she doing here with a windclan warrior? would she really try to take one on by herself? but why would she attack the warrior, he didn't even cross the border, he thought. "possibly," he mewed nodding, brushing against one last shrub. "let's check shadowclan."

"Ah...right....well.."she mews,walking around and tasting the air. "Nothing unusual...I have the stale scent of the deputy here,plus one of our warriors, but I'm sure nothing went on here..."She says softly, refreshing the border and shaking her pelt afterwards,noting she had gotten some leaves on it.
