longstripe ducked his head under the brambles as he padded out into thunderclan's beautiful territory. the gray tabby tom relished the feeling of the breeze flowing through his thick, long pelt, and the leaves brushing past his flank, leaving dew droplets hanging on strands of fur. today, he wasnt really out to hunt, but to be a warrior, without his duties. to just be in thunderclan territory, happy and free.
the tom soon arrived at the stream, where memories of two she-cats rewound in his mind. first breezefur, that akward day where he had messed thing up, then with nightberry. his mate. he sighed, a happy sigh, with a smile on his face. he looked down into the clear stream, noticing the rocks and minnows, clear as day.

The ebony black she cat padded over as soon as she saw the familiar gray tabby pelt of Longstripe. She smiles and paws his head with a purr. "Hey..."she mews flicking her tail.

longstripe was to busy watching the stream to hear nightberry creep up. he sat up in surprise when he felt a white paw hit his head. the long-furred tom looked up to see a beautiful ebony and white she-cat with wide blue eyes. he purred, his tail tip flicking.
"hey." he purred, patting the spot next to him with his fluffy tail. "how have you been since i last saw you?" he asked with a teasing smile.
[so i was thinking, nightberry chases a squirrel over the windclan border and a windclan patrol catches you. then longstripe notices you've gone missing, and he tracks her scent over the windclan border, and a patrol catches him and he gets captured as well. then foxstar attacks and blah blah blah.]

"really. what happened that made your life o' so great?" he purred, pushing his muzzle in between her shoulder blades, licking her neck.
"i've been just fine and dandy. there aren't any chances in my life so far, except you becoming my mate," he purred, giving her a half smile in a teasing way. he licked her muzzle, pressing closer to her body.

longstripe shook his head. "no. not that i know of," he replied with a shrug, settling down. "you?" he asked, a bright smile on his gray tabby muzzle, his long whiskers twitching.

"and what may that be?" he asked softly, grinning. he licked her muzzle, close to her nose, then touched his nose to her. for some reason, he began thinking about kits. what would they look like? how many? three was perfect for him. maybe a black one, and a gray tabby with white paws and stomach… and maybe a ginger one. just thoughts. he didn't know why he thought of ginger though. and of course, it wasn't aloud.

longstripe grinned. "kits would be nice…" he purred, trailing off, then looked at nightberry. "the problem is, we're not aloud to." he sighed, flicking his tail. "but what do you think they'd look like? I think three or four would be the perfect number." he murmured.
[what if one kit turned out "evil"? lol.]
