[no there is no fox den in the territory]
Quiet peace, what a lovely thing for now, no hustle, no bustle, just an few seconds of laying in his den. This is what Foxstar enjoyed. However he did often enjoyed them in his den, of which he called 'The Fox Den' because he was Foxstar, it only made sense. The silence felt lovely, he was often disturbed so he never really got to slow down and lay around doing nothing. Mostly because some cats find they simply must meet the leader, and it got a little annoying, one day he maybe fetching them from weird places just to get his attention. As he laid in his den, he was quite enjoying the time of silence he had, it was just so wonderful. It would be like this and as a bonus, he had to preform no ceremonies today.
So this was relaxation with silence, no wonder cats liked. the queens would probably enjoy it, having kits yelling and everything, but it was just too bad, it would be hard to escape the nursery and the kits. the kits always seemed to bounce off the walls.

"Well you look like you're enjoying yourself,Foxstar."A purr rose from the entrance of his den. Nightberry sat there,her tail curled around her paws comfortably.
She didn't fear her leader at all, so coming in and interrupting his momentary silence was music to her ears. Many of the warriors were not very social and had not met her yet,so becoming acquainted with her leader would be the first step before anything else.

Silence, silence, random voice at the entrance. Wait, Random Voice? Foxstar thought. Laying on his back to see a black and white warrior at the doorway, however she was upside down. Foxstar smiled and let out a small laugh. "You must be one of the new warriors." Foxstar meowed, flipping back onto his stomach and looking professional.

"Yes I am...I'm Nightberry. Pleasure to meet you..."the mostly black she-cat meows, holding back some slight laughter of the leader acting rather silly.
Her tail flicks back and forth. "I haven't been able to meet the rest of the warriors yet...so I thought meeting the one I'll be serving first..."she mews softly,dipping her head.

Nightberry, night of berries, Nightberry. Foxstar thought as a little reminder of her name. If she laughed, well that made sense, his actions were silly. Then she went on, telling him she hadn't met all the warriors, and calling him one kind of. Wait, warrior? "I am not a warrior, I am a leader. Anyways continue." Foxstar corrected her.

Nightberry's ears drooped a bit with a smile.
"Well for starters,I apologize for any interruption I'm giving you...I understand you're busy...."she says softly,lowering her gaze a bit. "I would just want to get to know you better...having a friend is on top of my life list..."

longstripe licked his jaws, finishing his mouse. he stood up, arching his back. he looked up at the leaders den. foxstar was a good friend, and also his partner. the dawn colors washed over his light gray pelt. of course. they needed to set the dawn patrols. he softly padded up the slop to highrock softly, quietly. he nosed his way inside the bracken screen. "foxstar." he mewed, dipping his head. "maybe we should start the dawn-" he started then noticed nightberry. he dipped his head to the she-warrior. "i'm sorry. i didn't see you. good morning," he mewed.

Nightberry smiled softly at the deputy with a shy flick of her tail. "Good morning to you..."she meows quietly, "You must be the deputy..."

longstripe half grinned, stifling a laugh. this she-cat didn't know that he was deputy? wasn't it kind of obvious? he was the one who set patrols and other things. "yes, i am." he laughed.

Her ears lowered as she dipped her head slightly to him.
"Sorry...I'm a new warrior...never got to know any cats much before I was one..."she says to him shyly and looking away,kind of embarrassed about being so uninformed. She overheard him say something about dawn patrol,which sparked her interest to get off the topic.
"Um...maybe I can go on the dawn patrol with you...if you need some warriors...I'm not doing anything super important right now..."she mewed,looking back over at him.

longstripe smiled, flicking his long tail. "no, don't feel bad. it's alright. i know how you feel. i should be apologizing." he replied, then nodded at her comment to the dawn patrol. he glanced at foxstar. "that might be a good idea. i was thinking foxstar could come along as well," he suggested, twitching his black whiskers.
